• Essential amino acid: the amino acid lysine is one of the essential amino acids, which the body cannot produce itself and therefore has to absorb through food. The daily requirement of lysine is estimated to be about 35 milligrams per kilogram of body weight for adults. Depending on body weight, at least between 2100 mg and 4200 mg of lysine should be absorbed daily.
• Optimal high dose: one tablet contains 1000 mg L-lysine hydrochloride, which has a high lysine content of 80% and thus delivers 800 mg of pure L-lysine. The L-lysin tablets are optimally high dosage with a daily dose of 1600 mg of pure L-lysine (equivalent to 2 tablets) and thus contribute significantly to an optimal supply of this important amino acid.
• L-Lysine from fermentation: the L-lysin tablets contain a high-quality lysine, which has been obtained by fermentation from corn and therefore 100% vegan. Pure L-lysine is highly hygroscopic, which means it attracts moisture from the air, which in turn affects stability. We therefore rely on the hydrochloride form, as it is not only significantly more stable, but also has optimal solubility and compatibility.
• 365 tablets per can: We have deliberately chosen a large storage pack of 365 L lysine tablets. With a recommended daily intake (2 tablets), one can is sufficient for 182 days or a full 6 months.
